The Spokane Complex — comprising the Old Trails, Autumn Lane, and Fairview fires — has generated the most widespread evacuation activity in the region. Evacuation zones spanning multiple levels remain in place across Spokane County:

  • Level 3 (Leave Now): Certain neighborhoods adjacent to the active perimeter of the Autumn Lane and Old Trails fires remain under mandatory evacuation orders. Residents must not return until orders are officially rescinded.
  • Level 2 (Be Set): A larger buffer zone around all three fires. Residents should be packed and prepared to leave immediately upon notice.
  • Level 1 (Be Ready): Outer awareness zone; monitor conditions closely.

Spokane County Sheriff Nowells urged all residents in affected zones to take the orders seriously, warning that smoke conditions can mask active fire spread.
